Finally able to drink clear liquids - never was so happy to have an apple juice. Maybe food by tomorrow? That'd be nice - it's been 7 days since my last solid food. I've been making a list of which Ann Arbor establishments I want to visit - needless to say, it's lengthy and mouthwatering. No Thai, Sadako, Big Ten Burrito, Mr. Spot's, Zingerman's...the list goes on.
I've been trying to stay patient with the myriad nurses and techs, which sometimes requires a herculean effort and sometimes is just impossible. But I try...

ReplyDeleteYou look healthy. We hope you are able to eat food real soon. Nat is back in college. During January she only has 1 class - pharmacology. She has been busy assisting with the girls varsity/jv basketball team. Her true love - basketball. Head coach was sick the other day & she made girls run suicides. I asked her if that brought back memories of when she played for Coach Davis. She won't help much now that break is over. Nat will begin her 12 hour clinical shifts next month one day each week. I will be nervous with her working @ Children's Hospital as it is not in a very good area. I hope she car pools with someone. Wishing you continued progess so you can go home & get back to work soon. Your family photos are very nice. Take care!! We'll be praying for you & your family. Larry D. is continuing to improve each day since his sinus surgery on 12/20. there is a similarity between you and Frozz T, maybe it's the nose...at any rate, liquids you say...hmmm, lots of liquid libations come to mind, probably not on your hospital liquid lunches though...we'll have to schedule time for them soon!
