Cam Thanks for sharing another video. I just made homemade applesauce today for the 1st time in my life. Yesterday I cleaned @ my dad's house & sorted through a basket of photos. It made me a little emotional so I didn't look @ every photo. 98% were all of Nat & many of our 1st dog - Nicki. The recent photos from the past few years are in another location. My dad said their are pictures in every room. I found 1 of Nat putting butter on the outside of the Thanksgiving Turkdey in 1995 - age 5. We laughed as she only had her underwear on & had just got out of the shower as her hair was wet. She had quite an expression on her face. I had never seen this photo & grandma had 2 copies. Nat always helped grandma with Thanksgiving when she was little & would spend the night down there. I purchased a few photo albums today as my plan is to organize these photos. Grandma loved taking pictures. I am glad we have so many to cherish. Nat survived last week's testing & had fun shopping in Columbus with our friends as their oldest daughter is a candidate for senior homecoming queen. Nat went to help the mom & daughter come to an agreement on her outfit. Amy (the mom) told us today at the golf course that she was so glad Nat went with them. Their daughter is a very nice girl who Nat has been friends since Emily was born. Larry D. will video the event for them as Amy said there will be too much excitement for her to worry about it. Amy always claims to be Nat's mom. They own the golf course where Nat works. Amy was always there to help with Nat for her prom & homecoming activities so we will help her.
Cam Hope your week is going well. Nat received 2 B's & 5 A's on her tests last week. We don't know what her grade is on the paper. Time will tell if we need to hire Cam to assist with future papers. I'm kidding. Tomorrow she is on hair detail. Emily's mom is a beautician but they have requested Nat to be present to assist with the homecoming hair decision making process. Can't believe it has been 2 years since Nat was one of the queen candidates. There is a senior girl who had a brain tumor (benign) surgery last year who is up for queen. My guess is she will be elected queen. All 3 seniors need to feel honored to have been elected by their classmates. There will be no major cooking experiments going on this weekend @ the Dalton house. Everyone enjoyed my homemade applesauce. Next recipe I am going to try are homemade noodles. My mom always had homemade noodles in the freezer - she was always elected to bring noodles to all gatherings. This will shock many people if it is a success. I was so happy when the recipe was found. My vote is to purchase Amish made noodles. I am geting pretty excited about my Dallas trip - will be packing this weekend. Enjoy your football weekend. Hello to the entire Young family.
Welcome to my life. I broke my neck at the C-5/6 level in July of 2007 while abroad in Spain. I have since graduated from the University of Michigan and am now engrossed in regaining the ability to walk. Come with me on my journey!
