- Welcome to my life. I broke my neck at the C-5/6 level in July of 2007 while abroad in Spain. I have since graduated from the University of Michigan and am now engrossed in regaining the ability to walk. Come with me on my journey!

ReplyDeleteSo excited as I am on vacation tomorrow headed to the airport to pick up Nat with my sister. She is home until 11/20. Once she gets home she is headed to the Cleveland Clinic to see a friend of ours who had colorectal surgery today. She is meeting one of the daughters at her college in Canton & then heading to Cleveland. Nat is a very thoughtful person who asked our friend if he wanted to see her. He replied I could never turn down seeing my girl. Nat is their adopted daughter. More than likely Nat gave him support on the phone to try to ease his mind the other night as they talked for quite awhile. This guy is mid 40's who has a wife & 4 kids. His family is from MI & he is a Michigan State graduate. Big Al is a hard working guy & is one heck of a nice guy. So sad his family is going through this tragic time. He loves my cookies so when he gets home a delivery will be made with alot of TLC!!! Hope all is well with you. I was in the ER Sunday evening with horrible pain on my left side. Cat Scan - blood work tests came back normal. Headed to medical doctor tomorrow afternoon. I haven't missed work other than going to doctor on Friday when all this started. More than likely an ultrasound will be ordered and a colonoscopy. FUN-FUN!! The pain meds knocked me out as I woke up yesterday 10 minutes before my start time for work. Never been late to work in my life. I made up my time.
