My Dad and I were lucky enough to get hooked up with tickets to World Series Game 3 on Saturday night in Detroit. I figured, hey, we might not get to this point in the postseason again for a while, so we better get to one of these games. The game obviously left something to be desired but we had a great time regardless, including seeing one of my favorite former Tigers:

Glad you got to go, what a thrill; too bad it ended so quickly, I didn't really care who won, just wanted to see a game 7, or 6, or 5 for that matter

ReplyDeleteI am sure you & your dad had a great time. Thanks for sharing the photos. Nat called yesterday to let us know she will be home the week before Thanksgiving which was a fantasic surprise. She has to work over the Thanksgiving holiday Wed-Thur-Fri. That is ok as long as we get to see her the week before. She will be home sometime in Dec. She doesn't know her schedule yet so we will take whatever we get. It certainly will be different not having her here during the holiday season. She continues to love her job & Florida which we can be thankful for.
