Hope all is well with you & your family. Larry D. & I have adjusted to our empty home. Natalie loves her job. We will be going to Florida next month to visit her for a few days. Her apartment looks very nice. Her boyfriend has been playing alot of golf in various tournaments.
I went to the OSU football game last Saturday. It has been years since I had attended a game. My friend had a blue poncho & I had a yellow poncho. We didn't plan this. The season pass ticket holders were not impressed with these colors. They told her uncle to throw us out. Her uncle has been an usher for 51 years so we got to move to unoccupied season pass seats which were awesome. My favorite part of the day was the band. Larry D. had no interest in going. He doesn't like to fight the crowds. We had fun with the fans sitting around us.
Take care & enjoy the Michigan football season.

One of friends who is a graduate of Michigan State was diagnosed with colon cancer recently. He attended many games each season & teased Natalie so much about Michigan State. He actually wrapped a Michigan State T Shirt & put it under my parents christmas tree when she was middle school age. It was a Kodak moment to see her face when she opened that gift. I would doubt that he gets to attend a game this season as he is going through chemo & radiation 5 days each week. The plan is to have surgery & then another round of treatments. He is mid 40's & has a wonderful wife & 4 kids. I have taken out a couple meals & peanut butter pies & cookies. He is such a hard worker. He raises hogs & is responsible for many barns throughout the Midwest area. His parents live in MI & also have a home 20 minutes from Nat in FL. Great people who have always treated Nat like their own child/grandchild. It is tough on Nat not to be here to assist & give support to them. She stays in contact with them. I have had many tears thinking about what they are going through. We can only pray that his treatment plan will be a success. Nasty stuff!!
