I like the way this kid thinks. Michigan to the finals - hey, I'll take it. Not likely, but that's why they call it March Madness.
Some tips (but don't complain to me when they're wrong!):
- Usually it's the 12 over 5 seed that's a lock every year, but this year I like every 5 to advance.
- It's the 11 vs. 6 matchup that I see being the source of real drama. Usually something like 31% of 11 vs. 6's result in upsets, but this year I like at least 3 of them. Which ones? Your guess is as good as mine. How about Minny, Belmont, and St. Mary's?
- Could some even higher seeds win and advance? Don't even mention South Dakota St.! How about Valpo?? Nah, I don't like them either to win. With both in-state teams playing in the friendly Palace, I think they each win their first two games.
- Last year two 15 seeds won - could the unthinkable happen again? No.
- But a 14 could make some noise - I see Marquette being a vulnerable 3 seed. Maybe underdog Davidson could give a scare.
- Is the Big Ten finally going to break through and end it's 13 year title drought this April in the ATL? I think so. Sparty, the hated Buckeyes, those gouge-your-eyes-out-because-they're-so-boring Badgers, even the least experienced team in the field, your Michigan Wolverines, could advance to the Georgia Dome. But it's the
LoosiersHoosiers I see cutting down the nets and concluding the annual One Shining Moment montage.

Marley is doing great. Nat's surprise 1 week vist was awesome that her dad helped arrange for her to come back. I still can't believe she was sitting on our couch when I got home after work. The time went by so fast. She said Marley was very needy (if I recall correctly there were a couple other words she used but it wouldn't be appropriate to type these type words. Marley was getting into Nat's stuff & that is not good at all to mess with Nat's things. Chewing on an earring - shoes - purse - etc will get you yelled at quite loudly. I think she is glad she didn't get a pup. Marley doesn't mess with our things. Nat must have been extra special.
Marley now looks just like our 2nd dog Ashley. She started out looking like our 1st corgi but her looks have changed completely. She is pretty cute & so smart. Quite sassy with Larry D. from day 1. Very strong headed when she gets in trouble. I didn't train her to be bullheaded but I get the blame for making her this way. She loves her truck rides. Larry D. calls her a gas - - - . He loves his dog.
Having my dad - sister & her family for lunch tomorrow. Headed to my aunts house this evening for dinner. My friend & I spent the afternoon shopping yesterday. So many laughs. We were named good witch & bad witch from one of the Merillat plant managers several years back. I was the good witch as I saw everything through rose colored glasses & she was the bad witch as she would tell you just how she felt. This plant manager loved to spend lunch time with us with the door closed as we laughed so much. We worked very hard in customer service making the customers delighted but had fun on our lunch breaks. She is the best friend anyone could ever have.
