Why hasn't Mitt locked this thing up yet? He's been running for president since 2007. He's raised more money than any of his competitors. He's had only one wife, and has the religious conviction and will power to not drink coffee or alcohol. (Quite impressive.) But after losing (just barely) in Iowa and South Carolina after having once been believed a shoo-in in both states, his stranglehold on the 2012 GOP presidential nomination has loosened, allowing Newt to improbably connive his way to center stage.
Maybe this ad was Romney's downfall?
Maybe it's his general awkwardness?
Maybe it's his recent string of inexplicable decisions, led by his refusal to release his tax returns, artificially elevating the importance of the issue even as it's a standard practice for presidential contenders to do.
But bottom line is this:

ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you and your family. Nat just returned home from Florida late last night. She had a job interview for a new grad RN position last Thurs. which went very well. They scheduled a 2nd interview during her spring break week in March when she returns back to the sunshine state. My prediction is we will be moving her to Florida the end of May as a start date of 6/1 was discussed. We are very proud that her 1st formal interview was a success. The next 4 months will fly right by. I'm not quite ready for this chapter in my lifetime to have her so far away but it is part of life. She looked at various apartments in the Tampa / Lakeland area. I get tears just thinking about this topic. I know where my vacation will be spent this year. A 2 1/2 hour flight isn't bad. Say hello to the rest of your family. Take care!!
